Terms & Conditions

1. Contract & Legal Identity

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "Guest" or "Client") and Thurya Voyages (Pvt) Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"), a company duly incorporated under the laws of Sri Lanka with registered headquarters at 129/A Ihalagama, Gampaha 11000, Sri Lanka. All tour services are conducted in compliance with guidelines set by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).

2. Bookings, Quotations & Confirmations

• All customized itineraries, package rates, and vehicle quotations provided via email or WhatsApp remain valid for 14 calendar days from the date of issuance unless stated otherwise.
• A booking is officially confirmed once written acceptance is received along with the agreed deposit payment, upon which an official Booking Confirmation Voucher will be issued.
• Guests are required to provide accurate passenger counts, full names as appearing in international passports, flight numbers, and arrival/departure times at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) or Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (HRI).

3. Pricing, Currency & Transparent Inclusions

All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) or equivalent major currencies (EUR, GBP, AUD) and Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).

4. Payment Schedule & Security

• Advance Deposit: A deposit of 20% to 30% of total tour package value is required to lock in your private vehicle reservation and secure selected boutique accommodations.
• Balance Payment: The remaining balance may be settled either via secure electronic bank transfer prior to arrival or in cash (USD/EUR/GBP/LKR) upon meet-and-greet with your dedicated chauffeur at Colombo Airport.
• Secure digital payments are processed through encrypted international banking gateways.

5. Vehicle Standards & Chauffeur Regulations

Our fleet comprises comprehensively insured, modern, air-conditioned vehicles (Sedans, SUVs, KDH Luxury Vans, Mini Coaches). In adherence to national safety standards and Sri Lanka Traffic Police regulations, chauffeurs are limited to a maximum driving duration per day to avoid fatigue. In the rare event of mechanical disruption, Thurya Voyages guarantees an immediate equivalent replacement vehicle at no extra expense to the guest.

6. Travel Insurance & Health Advisory

All travelers visiting Sri Lanka are strongly advised to secure comprehensive international travel insurance covering medical expenses, emergency repatriation, trip cancellation, personal baggage loss, and adventure activities (such as white water rafting, surfing, or wildlife jeep safaris). Thurya Voyages accepts no liability for personal medical expenses or lost belongings.

7. Force Majeure & Unforeseen Delays

Thurya Voyages shall not be held liable for failure to deliver services due to events of Force Majeure, including but not limited to severe weather conditions, flooding, landslides, government-mandated road closures, natural disasters, epidemics, or international flight rescheduling. In such circumstances, our team will proactively reorganize itineraries to prioritize guest comfort and safety.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This agreement is governed in all respects by the substantive laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising in connection with our services shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Western Province, Sri Lanka.
